St JUTHWARE FESTIVAL 2026
10th-12th July 2026
Day One Friday 10th July at 6.30
Opening in hushed reverence and golden light filtering through stained glass. As dusk settles, St Juthware Church will glow by candlelight, its stone walls holding centuries of stories as they embrace new ones. Here, the exquisite Magio Strings will lead us through a hand‑picked programme of romantic and memory‑filled classics, each note lingering like a whispered promise. Canapés and gently clinking glasses will accompany the music, creating an evening of elegance, warmth, and quiet wonder — a moment to pause, remember, and simply be.
Day Two 11th July 7.00
Shifts the rhythm and lifts the roof. In the heart of the village, Halstock Village Hall becomes a vibrant crossroads of sound and spirit, where pop music meets folk roots, rap energy meets rock anthems. Grey Wolves and the Tom Toomey Band give us an evening for movement, laughter, and shared tables — the irresistible aroma of a hog roast drifting through the hall as voices rise and beats roll on. A celebration of now, of diversity, and of the joyful noise that brings generations together.
Day Three 12th July 3.30
Draws us back to stillness and song. An afternoon of choral classics unfolds in St Juthware Church and churchyard, where voices soar into the rafters and float out into the open air from the choirs of Sherborne Chamber Choir and Parnham Voices. With Pimm’s in hand and scones on the lawn, we close the festival as we began — together, unhurried, and uplifted. Music, sunlight, and tradition entwine, offering a gentle, heartfelt farewell.
Three days. Three moods. One community.
Join us beneath the church roof and the wide Dorset sky, and be part of something both timeless and new — a festival where music doesn’t just fill the space, but binds us to it, and to one another.
